Andy Murray has been on an impressive run of form recently and his victory against Grigor Dimitrov in Paris cemented his place at the World Tour Finals in London. It has been a difficult year for Murray after his back surgery last year I think a lot expected him to return in 2014 and be 100% fit and be back to his best.
I felt Murray’s best tennis up until Wimbledon was funnily enough on clay courts, his least favourite court surface. He went on to play a great match v Nadal in Rome and then had a good Roland Garros before having a disappointing grass court season.
Since Wimbledon it has been a much improved Murray but he lost matches v Tsonga and Federer in Canada and Cincinatti respectively despite playing well and leading in the Tsonga match but didn’t have his usual concentration however it’s the last two…
